• Murchison & Cumming Welcomes Five Associates in December

Los Angeles, CA - December 30, 2002 - Murchison & Cumming is pleased to announce that five new associates have joined the firm. Daniel Robyn, Daniela Fuessel, Antonio Gonzalez and Holly N. Boyer are resident in the firm's Los Angeles and Sunhee Kang has taken residence in the firm's San Diego office.

Daniel Robyn, a German lawyer, passed the California bar exam and began working at Murchison & Cumming as an associate this December. Mr. Robyn began working with Murchison & Cumming in May 2001 as a Foreign Legal Advisor specializing in European and German Law. He will continue to focus his practice in the areas of product liability, general liability and international law. Mr. Robyn graduated with honors in 1997 from the University of Cologne School of Law in Germany (J.D. Equivalent) and went on to receive his Master of Law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1998. Prior to joining Murchison & Cumming, Mr. Robyn completed his compulsory legal training at Baker & McKenzie in Dusseldorf, Germany, where he worked in the Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions departments. He was admitted to the German Bar in 2000 and the State Bar of California in 2002.

Daniela Fuessel, another German lawyer, also joined the firm this month as an associate. She focuses her practice in the areas of intellectual property, business and commercial law and international law, with an emphasis in German Law. Prior to joining Murchison & Cumming, Ms. Fuessel represented European, Asian and U.S. Companies in business and commercial litigation matters at Grunecker Kinkldey Stockmair Schwanhausser in Munich, Germany. She also worked with the German Embassy Cyprus, assisting the Ambassador and First Secretary in researching and writing the official socio-economic report on Cyprus for 1998. In 1996, she graduated with honors from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt, Germany. She was admitted to the German Bar in 1999 and the State Bar of California in 2001.

Holly Boyer was welcomed into the firm's Law & Appellate practice group. Ms. Boyer is a recent graduate of Southwestern University where she was a participant of Conceptual Approach to Legal Education (S.C.A.L.E.), an intensive two-year law program. Through this program, Ms. Boyer externed for Judge Arthur Alarcon of the Ninth Circuit and was the recipient of several Cali Excellence For the Future Awards including, Criminal law, Taxation, Property, Legal Reasoning, Labor Law and Evidence. She is admitted to practice before all California State Courts and the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Antonio Gonzalez joined the Los Angeles office of Murchison & Cumming as an associate. He will focus his practice on employment law, product liability and general liability matters. Mr. Gonzalez completed his undergraduate work at Stanford University before attending Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. At Loyola Law School, Mr. Gonzalez served as editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and participated in the U.S. District Court Judicial and Los Angeles County Superior Court Judicial Externship Programs. He is a member of the State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Mexican American Bar Association.

Sunhee Kang joined the San Diego office of Murchison & Cumming as an associate, specializing in handling law and motion matters. Ms. Kang completed her undergraduate work at UCLA before attending the University of Southern California Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association. Ms. Kang is admitted to practice in all federal and California state courts.
